Billy Clyde Tuggle Is Alive!!

BillyJoe2 He’s bacckk!!!!  Contemptible bad boy ‘Billy Clyde Tuggle,’ played by veteran actor Matthew Cowles, returns to Pine Valley on the popular drama, “All My Children,” starting  Thursday, May 16. When the reviled character fell of a bridge over 20 years ago in 1991, residents of Pine Valley thought they’d seen the last of Tuggle. But somehow the character and the actor himself managed to survive the plunge by landing on a mattress. A former pimp turned born again Christian, Tuggle is back to cause trouble, including coming face-to-face with Dixie Martin, played by Cady McClain, reigniting a dramatic storyline

Tuggle re-emerges as an escort owner who will cause trouble (what else is new) for Jesse and Zach. He will have a hand in finding Cassandra Foster,  daughter of Angie Hubbard who has been kidnapped and being used in a trafficking ring.

Cowles was nominated for an Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series in 1978 and was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Daytime Drama Series in 1981 for his part as Billy Clyde Tuggle in All My Children, a role that he created and wrote.  Billy Clyde will debut on May 17th.
